It will feature a variety of different “lifestyle” mini-games that will allow you to gather a wide variety of different materials to build up your town/farm/house. It will release before the main game, which will hopefully hold you over during the excruciatingly long 2 and a half year wait. So what is THIS? We are still very, very early in the planning stages so there is a lot we cannot commit to. Natsume Atari has done some great pixel based games like Ninja Warriors and Wild Guns. Natsume is known for the Harvest Moon series. It’s with great excitement that we announce our plans to partner with Natsume-Atari to create an Town Creation RPG. This is what they said on the kickstarter when they announced the final stretch goal. Sounds like you read second hand information from unreliable sources. When you say one thing then do another, it leaves a bad taste Then they changed it to this.a sidescrolling action like game. They said that the companion game would be a life sim/farming sim type game. They just want the developers to do it for them.Originally posted by Boycott Creative Assembly:Hardcore suikoden fan, backed Eiyuden even when money was tight because I wanted the stretch goals met. Players can control the difficulty all they want all they have to do is not upgrade their gear, or upgrade less. This is actually more common in JRPGs (where the same arguments get made, again).īut here's the irony in it. Here, hard mode just has a different meaning. People just feel 'cheated' because most games use the same wording and have difficulty options you can change at the start, but is by no means the rule. I bet there'd be less griping about it if it wasn't called 'whatever mode'. It's not balanced or intended for level 1 players with no upgrades. But hard mode in this case is just a difficulty to level up the rest of the game to where your gear level should be at the end of the story, so that you can playthrough each level again, with enemies that pack quite a bit more of a punch and you deal less of one. People assume they made a hard mode but are making it a sort of final unlock, which is 'stupid' and that any difficulty related anything should be available from the start.
